I have updated my computer to Windows 10 in September I have noticed that the bit updates for February did not install though bit updates installed. Word indicated it was a bit program, but the specifications for Windows 10 said it was a bit program. Are the uninstalled updates an issue?

Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. In reply to Jessen P’s post on May 1, I was concerned that the failed updates would cause an issue down the line. I could understand if bit updates were not installing on a bit program, but the other way around seemed unrealistic and strange. I couldn’t understand why my updates were not installing and tried various methods to fix the problem. I was really being driven crazy by the failure of the updates and searched the MS Community for answers and tried several failed updates fix suggestions.
I was concerned that some nefarious virus or hacking issue was at work. It was only by almost accidently checking the update history that I saw updates had installed, but not the bit updates. I would wager that many other frustrated people are having the same problem and not realizing updates are installing. In reply to Sarah’s post on May 4, Hello, Thank you for your response.

User’s post on May 6, The trouble shooter was not at all helpful as were several suggestions on the Community website. In reply to Sarah’s post on May 6, Let us know the results. User’s post on May 13, I had McAfee anti-virus and removed it to see if there was any change regarding the update issue.
I have run malware and Windows Defender without any problems being detected. I also used the Microsoft trouble shooter, without any resolution. The downloads appear to start installing with Waiting for install and change to Downloading. After a couple of hours I receive the error message in the second screen shot. I have tried researching the error 0xb4 in Microsoft Community and tried the suggestions without success. In reply to Sarah’s post on May 21, I was in contact with Microsoft Support.
They had to escalate my issue to Level 2. The result was that my computer had to be wiped and the programs reinstalled. This site in other languages x.
