Windows 10 Edge. The star icon that represents my web site favorites has suddenly changed appearance. What does this mean. Hi Russell. Mine has a small blue circle with an i in it at the bottom right corner of the Edge Favorites icon on URL bar, in the area where there are supposed to be three lines signifying Favorites list. This is very weird. The dot is not red any longer, it is blue now and the “add to favorites” star is now solid blue.

I’ll let you know what I find out about the icon on the Favorites button. Yes, usually a small “i” means information or a popup tool tip.
