I have tried all of the tips I can find on Microsoft websites and they have done nothing. I have installed all of the latest updates available for my system from Microsoft.

To do this you have to create a pin. Once that is done the fingerprint option should be enabled and you can setup fingerprint login. Yesterday’s upgrade to RS1 seems to have “fixed” the fingerprint reader issue – at least for me.

Throw it out, we’re going to get the latest version from online. Oddly enough, EgisTec hasn’t made their drivers available on their own website, but you can get it from any of the PC manufacturers that have built their tech into their laptops.

I have the apps installed on the device. If I do indeed have the model mentioned pretty sure this is the one I bought and couldn’t find drivers for then I’m going to stick this under my desk plugged into a USB extender to my desktop PC Then I can just do a little swipe on the bottom side of the desk and be signed in.
