Ok now a week later I am adding the replacement system and the connector reports that a computer with the same name is a member of the domain. See the screen capture below. Has anyone seen this before? Microsoft does not allow Windows Home editions to join domains because those home users won’t be connecting to any type of domain. I suspect that running the connector is what’s done it. It’s put info into the AD without checking whether the system can actually connect.
