Follow the below method provided. I would suggest you to run sound troubleshooter, it will automatically troubleshoot the network problem and check. If it helps. Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel. Click on View all on the left navigation pane. Click on Advanced on the Playing audio troubleshooter dialog box and click on Run as administrator Enter the credentials if required.

Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Network troubleshooter. I recommend you to un-install and reinstall the sound adaptor and check if it helps. Click on Audio inputs and outputs to expand and right click on the device driver.

Click on Properties and click on Driver tab. Now click on Uninstall tab, once you uninstall the driver restart the system.

Once you restart the computer the driver will automatically re-installed. Locate for Audio inputs and outputs and expand it. Right click on the Sound adaptor device and click on update. If the issue still persist, I would recommend you to go to the computer manufacturer website and download the latest updated sound adaptor and install the same.

This worked perfectly on 8. I spent about 2 hours on the phone with the Dell tech dept yesterday, gave them access remotely and they couldn’t figure out the problem either.

Thanks for that, I like Win 10 otherwise and am willing to wait for the fix Windows 10 Pro does find my wireless device, it connects and I can hear the audio on my television but I can’t see the movie , only a black screen on my laptop and tv but the audio is projected to my tv only.
