Go to the Insert tab and, in the Pages group, choose Blank Page. Choose the number of columns. Go to the Layout tab and select Columns. Then, choose Two to create a bi-fold brochure, or choose Three to create a tri-fold brochure. Add and format the text. To format the text, select the text, go to the Home tab, then choose a font, font size, and font color, or add a bulleted list or numbered list. Another way to place text in a brochure is to insert a text box and add text to the text box.

Add photos or graphics. Select the location in the document where you want to place the picture, go to the Insert tab, and select Pictures. Search for a existing templates either in your computer of Office. Select any one of the brochure templates , check the preview and click Create. A sample brochure is now created. Next step will be to modify the template so it will fit your needs. Customizing your brochure We can make changes to the images and texts in the sample brochure to make our own brochure.

Working with images and texts We can change the Image by right clicking on the image and selecting Change picture. Insert the picture by browsing it from your disk, by using the Bing search ,or by leveraging pictures you have uploaded on your Facebook or OneDrive accounts. We can change the existing brochure text , by simply tapping on the text and then adding ro, modifying or deleting it as needed. The first page will be the front, back, and inner fold of the brochure.

The second page will be the inside of the brochure. Use the ruler and gridlines to space the text boxes into three even columns per page. Now that you have six columns, start adding your content to your brochure. In addition to copy, use the Insert menu to add images, shapes, and charts.

Remember that images can bleed from one column to the next. Your content will naturally fall into content groups, such as a header and subhead, or a group of shapes that form a design. Select each of these individual objects and convert them into a group. This will allow you to move each of those components together as you tweak the design. If this is the first time you’re installing Office you may have some setup steps to do first. Expand the learn more section below. However, if you’re reinstalling Office, and you’ve already redeemed a product key and have an account associated with Office, then go to the section sign in and install Office on your PC or Mac.

Some Office and Office products come with a product key. If yours did, before installing Office for the first time, sign in with an existing or new Microsoft account and enter your product key at office.

Redeeming your key is what links your account with Office so you only have to do this once. Already did this? Select the tab below for the version you’re trying to install.

If Office originally came pre-installed and you need to reinstall on it on the same device or a new device, you should already have a Microsoft account associated with your copy of Office. This is the account you’ll use to install Office following the steps below. Volume license versions : If you work in an organization that manages your installations, you might need to talk to your IT department.

Some organizations have different methods to install Office on multiple devices. Third-party seller : You bought Office from a third-party and you’re having problems with the product key. Go to your Microsoft account dashboard and if you’re not already signed in, select Sign in. Forgot your account details? See I forgot the account I use with Office. From the top of the page, select Services and subscriptions and on that page find the Office product you want to install and select Install.

To install Office in a different language, or to install the bit version , select the link Other options. Choose the language and bit version you want, and then select Install. You’re now ready to install Office. Remember a one-time purchase version of Office is licensed for one install only. If you see the User Account Control prompt that says, Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?

Your install is finished when you see the phrase, “You’re all set! Office is installed now” and an animation plays to show you where to find Office applications on your computer. Select Close. Follow the instructions in the window to find your Office apps. For example depending on your version of Windows, select Start and then scroll to find the app you want to open such as Excel or Word, or type the name of the app in the search box.

If you’re unable to install Office see Troubleshoot installing Office for more help. Start using an Office application right away by opening any app such as Word or Excel. Can’t find Office after installing? In most cases, Office is activated once you start an application and after you agree to the License terms by selecting Accept.

Office might activate automatically. However, depending on your product you might see the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard. If so, follow the prompts to activate Office. If you need activation help, see Activate Office. Upgrade to Microsoft to work anywhere from any device and continue to receive support. If you’re stuck at the Verifying…. On the first installation screen, select Continue to begin the installation process. Review the software license agreement, and then click Continue.

Select Agree to agree to the terms of the software license agreement. Review the disk space requirements or change your install location, and then click Install. Note: If you want to only install specific Office apps and not the entire suite, click the Customize button and uncheck the programs you don’t want.

Enter your Mac login password, if prompted, and then click Install Software. This is the password that you use to log in to your Mac.

The software begins to install. Click Close when the installation is finished. If Office installation fails, see What to try if you can’t install or activate Office for Mac. Click the Launchpad icon in the Dock to display all of your apps. The What’s New window opens automatically when you launch Word. Click Get Started to start activating. If you need help activating Office, see Activate Office for Mac.

If Office activation fails, see What to try if you can’t install or activate Office for Mac. Yes, you can install and use Office for Mac and Office for Mac at the same time. In most cases, Office is activated once you start an application and after you click Accept to agree to the Microsoft Office License Agreement.
