Eventually, Barbie will have to use her special powers such as melting ice with the ember ability and one that allows her to float. These do add a bit of variety to the gameplay, as do the boss battles. The boss battles are really, really easy, but they do help keep things interesting. The horse I am sure is a big part of the movie, heck it is in the title!

Here though, you really only get to use it on the bonus stage where you try to collect coins. Again, this helps add a bit of variety to the game so it is a welcome addition. I do though feel that some kids will be disappointed they do not get to use the magical flying horse more than the game allows. I would say that Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus is not a bad game at all.

It is rather short like most of the other Barbie games and it is not all that hard. However, as this is made for kids we will give it a pass for that. Once complete and it takes a while , kids lead Barbie through the Forbidden Forest, where mini-games and puzzles need to be played and won before advancing forward.
